EASTERN CAPE CONTINUES TO ATTRACT INVESTORS INTO THE PROVINCE

The Eastern Cape continues to attract investors into the province: this is after Business Process South Africa (BPESA) in partnership with Eastern Cape Parks and Tourism Agency (ECPTA). the Eastern Cape Office of the Premier recently hosted the investors conference and roadshow gala dinner at the East London International Convention Centre on the 28 to 30 March 2022.

The objective of the roadshow was to showcase the beauty and investment potential of the Eastern Cape. Furthermore, to showcase ECPTA’s value proposition to investors and interested domestic operators wanting to expand their footprint into the Eastern Cape.

Eastern Cape Premier, Lubabalo Oscar Mabuyane said, “our goal is to discuss innovative ways to transform the property sector and ensure inclusivity while generation revenue through government owned properties which will be utilized towards its key priorities”.

The conference took over three days by means to give investors an excellent overview of what they can expect from the Eastern Cape and an opportunity to experience the sites firsthand, the success of our operators in the region and experience some of EC’s tourism offerings.

Key stakeholders included the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (The DTIC), Nelson Mandela Bay Business Chamber(NMBBC), Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality (NMBM), the Eastern Cape Socio-Economic Consultative Council (ECSECC), Border-Kei Chamber of Business (BKCOB), East London and COEGA IDZ.
