REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS THE PROVISION OF A FINANCE CONSULTANT FOR THE EASTERN CAPE PARKS & TOURISM AGENCY QUOTATION NO. 115/16/17

 

The Eastern Cape Parks & Tourism Agency is seeking the services of a service provider to submit proposals for THE PROVISION OF A FINANCE CONSULTANT

Mini bid documents outlining detailed specifications will be made available from   Wednesday, 8 March 2017 free of charge and closing on Friday, 17 March 2017 at 11h00 am. The documents can only be e-mailed to applicants upon request.

 

Objective

The objective of this tender is to appoint a suitable service provider to for the provision of the following positions:

1. Finance Accountant – Accounting & Reporting

DUTIES:

§  Analyse repairs & maintenance account for miss-allocations;

§  Analyse the consulting fees account for miss-allocation;

§  Prepare reconciliations for revenue received in advance;

§  Review all control accounts in the trial balance for correctness;

§  Prepare monthly management reports;

§  Perform calculations for the amortization of finance leases;

§  Assist in asset management by reviewing journals; Assist in reviewing WIP;

§  Assist in reviewing inventory

§  Prepare Interim & Annual Financial Statements

§  Prepare Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly reports

§  Respond to Internal and External audit queries

§  Perform any adhoc duties delegated by the CFO

Minimum Requirement: 3 year relevant Degree with 3 years relevant experience

Working Hours: 8h00 to 16h30 Monday to Thursday and  Fridays 8h00 to 16h00

 

NB: Candidates will be subjected to interviews therefore CV’s of the proposed candidates must be submitted with the mini bid document. Failure to submit proposed CV’s will result in immediate disqualification of the bid. Bidders may not submit more than 2 candidates.

 

 

 

EVALUATION CRITERIA

PREFERENTIAL PROCUREMENT POLICY FRAMEWORK ACT NO. 5 OF 2000 AND ITS REGULATIONS WILL APPLY:

 

Pre-requisite:Interviews

Only Candidates that pass the interview stage of the evaluation will proceed to the Price/ BBBEE stage

Price and B-BBEE points will be calculated as described in the Preferential Procurement Regulations of 2011. SBD 6.1 form must be used to claim B-BBEE Status level of the company.

NB: Certified copy or original B-BBEE Status Level Verification Certificate/ Sworn Affidavit must be submitted to substantiate B-BBEE Status claimed. When such certificate is not provided as proof the company will automatically score zero.

BIDDERS SHALL TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING BID CONDITIONS:

 

·         The Eastern Cape Parks and Tourism Agency Supply Chain Management Policy will apply;

·         Bidders must be registered with the Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)

·         Eastern Cape Parks and Tourism Agency does not bind itself to accept the highest bid or any other bid and reserves the right to accept the whole or part of the bid;

·         Bids which are late, incomplete, unsigned or submitted by facsimile or electronically will not be accepted;

  • The following documents must be submitted with the tender document:

Ø  Certified Copy or an original B-BBEE Certificate OR a Sworn Affidavit

Ø  Companies who bid as a joint venture must submit a consolidated B-BBEE Verification Certificate only for this bid.

  • Bids submitted are to hold good for a period of 90 days
