A 460ha nature reserve made up of a series of wetlands and grasslands, the Luchaba Nature Reserve has seen the recent reintroduction of various indigenous species as well as wetland conservation efforts in restoring the area to its former biodiversity. Boasting countryside views, a host of thriving wildlife and the ultimate in tranquillity, Luchaba Nature Reserve can be found just outside of the town of Umtata, adjacent to the Mthatha Dam.
