ECPTA is proud to announce a new destination marketing partnership with national travel authority, Travelstart.
The two entities will work closely together over the next few months to drive an increase in domestic arrivals to the Eastern Cape through focussed digital marketing.
“Increasing domestic arrivals to the Eastern Cape is one of ECPTAs key priorities,” says ECPTA CEO Vuyani Dayimani.
“Domestic tourism is our bread and butter and in order to grow tourism receipts to the Eastern Cape, a diverse offering of what to see and do comes to the fore.”
A range of micro trip itineraries have been put together to showcase what the Eastern Cape has to offer, from a culinary tour to a beach or mountain breakaway.
“These offerings are packaged across the Eastern Cape’s nine tourism regions, encouraging visitors to explore more than their ‘back yard’.”
“Affordability, accessibility and of course discounted airfares are central to the success of the campaign. We look forward to this partnership helping us to welcoming more tourists to the Eastern Cape this summer.”
