ECPTA SHOWCASES “PEACE AND TOURISM” OFFERINGS AHEAD OF TOURISM OF TOURISM MONTH LAUNCH

In preparation for the upcoming Tourism Month, the Eastern Cape Parks and Tourism Agency (ECPTA) hosted a group of social media influencers and journalists from regional and national media houses. This exclusive two-day media tour aligned with this year’s “Peace and Tourism” theme, highlighting the region’s unique adventure tourism offerings while promoting peaceful interactions with nature.

The tour kicked off with a river cruise and a sandboarding experience at Sundays River Adventures. Influencers and journalists explored the scenic beauty of the Sundays River, followed by the exciting experience of gliding down dunes. The combination of natural beauty and heart-pumping excitement reflected the “Peace and Tourism” theme. Next on the agenda, a quad bike ride and game drive at Criss Cross Adventures provided participants with a unique way to experience the stunning landscapes of Addo National Park. The quad bike tour gave the group a closer look at Criss Cross accommodation establishment, followed by a game drive showcasing the park’s diverse wildlife.
