Bids are hereby invited for A MAINTENANCE OF A DIGITAL SECURITY SYSTEM AND JOINT OPERATIONS CENTRE AT GREAT FISH RIVER NATURE RESERVE FOR A PERIOD OF 24 MONTHS WITH AN OPTION TO EXTEND FOR A FURTHER PERIOD OF 12 MONTHS

Bid documents outlining detailed specifications will be made available from Friday, “29 NOVEMBER 2024 FREE OF CHARGE”. Completed bid documents accompanied by all necessary documents are to be placed in a sealed envelope with the bid name and number (as given above) clearly written in an envelope. All bids must be deposited in the Tender Box, at the offices of the Eastern Cape Parks and Tourism Agency at No. 17-25 Oxford Street (Corner of Fleet Street & Oxford Street, East London), by not later than 11h00 on Tuesday, 28 January 2025, at which time the bids will be opened in public.

EVALUATION CRITERIA

 

This procurement is financed by P174097: South Africa Wildlife Conservation Bond Operation and the World Bank Procurement Regulation will be applicable. The ECPTA will follow a Two- stage process, the first stage contains the qualifications and technical proposal, where bidders will be invited to submit technical proposals. The top two bidders who score the highest points in functionality will be shortlisted to participate in stage 2 where bidders will be allowed to assess the existing system and then submit detailed costings for the repair and maintenance component of the project.

STAGE 1A: MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

Bidder are required to submit the following mandatory requirements.

  1. a) Professional Indemnity Insurance
  2. b) Financial Capability

Price and Specific Goals points will be calculated as described in the Preferential Procurement Regulations of 2022. SBD 6.1 form must be used to claim points for Specific Goals for the company.

A copy of CSD report, Medical Certificate and Proof of Address must be submitted as proof of specific goals. When the above documentation is not provided as proof the company will automatically score zero.
