Tsolwana Nature Reserve Hosts Cancer Awareness Walk

Tsolwana Nature Reserve, in partnership with Ntabethemba SAPS and the Department of Health, hosted a well attended Cancer Awareness Walk on 7 November 2025. More than two hundred and fifty people participated and many received onsite health screenings for breast cancer, prostate cancer, TB and general wellness.

The event brought essential health services closer to rural residents who often face barriers in accessing preventative care. It also strengthened relationships between the reserve and its surrounding communities by fostering a shared sense of wellbeing and support.
