Hamburg Nature Reserve supported the food garden project at Hamburg Primary School by donating and installing fencing to protect the garden. The project supplies vegetables for the school’s feeding scheme and teaches young learners about environmental stewardship.
The reserve has formally adopted the school, incorporating environmental education into learner activities and supporting participation in environmental awards. ECPTA continues to guide and monitor the project to ensure its long term sustainability and positive community impact.
