Elephant & Big 5 Encounter

This package allows you the opportunity to do excellent Big 5 game viewing on guided game drives, to visit the renowned Addo Elephant National Park and to ride Africas Gentle Giants in an elephant encounter at a private Game Reserve. Day-1 Addo Schotia Safaris You will collect your vehicle from the airport and drive yourself to Schotia Safaris, close to Addo Elephant Park. Check in for the afternoon and experience some of the best game viewing the Eastern Cape can offer. Relax over dinner and enjoy our delicious safari cuisine, knowing that after coffee around the fire your ranger will take you for a short night drive en-route to your lodge where you will be lulled to sleep by the night sounds of the African bush. Day-2 Addo Schotia Safaris B L D Awake to the sound of birds and have a cup of tea or coffee before your ranger takes you on a morning drive. After a hearty breakfast you change vehicles and its off to Addo Elephant National Park for a Addo Tour. The morning is spent searching for, and viewing elephants in an area containing the worlds most dense elephant population. We eat a wholesome lunch at a local farmstall restaurant before returning to the reserve. A second afternoon evening safari will give you another chance to take more photos, see different animals or just relax and watch the animals behaviour. Another sumptuous dinner is followed by your second night in the bush. Day-3 Addo Awake to the sound of birds and have a cup of tea or coffee before your ranger takes you on a morning drive. During this drive you can search for any of the animals you did not see on previous drives, or look at some of the smaller nature details so often missed. After a delicious breakfast you return to our reception area where we wave goodbye and you continue on to Addo Elephant Back Safaris for an Elephant Encounter, unprecedented. Walks with the elephants through bush, ravines and forests. The walk is not strenuous and at an enjoyable pace. Walks will allow the guests to observe the elephants habits in their natural surroundings. Then enjoy the thrill of riding these gentle giants to their favourite waterhole to watch them swim and make the most of the mud. Here you will be able to relax at the waterhole By afternoon, you will head back to Port Elizabeth to return the vehicle.
