The AHJ Surf School operates out of the world-renowned
Buccaneers Backpackers in Chintsa, with 15 km of uncrowded
beach breaks on our doorstep. From our excellent
beginner breaks to reputed spots for the experienced like
Queensberry Bay point, Yellow Sands Point and beach break
and the internationally recognised Nahoon Reef, all within
easy driving. If you are new to the sport, all year is good
with predominantly warm waters throughout and ideal
learning conditions presenting themselves at one of the
many consistent breaks nearby. For the experienced surfers,
the winter months are best as big low pressures move up the
coast accompanied by good ground swell.
