Camerons Farm Cottage

Camerons Cottage is on a farm 15 minutes from the town of Cathcart on the road towards Hogsback. The cottage offers an expansive view of sheep pastures and the natural slopes of the Thorn River Valley beyond. One can snuggle up to a log fire in winter, or embrace the beauty and silence of the landscape all year round. Guests have 1600 hectares of farmland to explore. Middledrift Farm is well known for its richness of bird and plant species, including an exceptional population of cycads (E. Frederici-guilielmi). Those interested in history can explore the ruins of an 1870s era settlement, or visit San rock paintings. For sports lovers golf, tennis and bowls facilities are 15 minutes away in the historic town of Cathcart.
