De Mist Cottage

Tucked cosily away in the lush green garden of a citrus farm in the lush Gamtoos River valley north of Patensie, De Mist Cottage is only a short drive from the eastern entrance of the fabulous Baviaanskloof Wilderness area and is thus perfectly placed as a stop-over either on the way to or from the Baviaans or, indeed, from which to make days trips into it. In itself, De Mist Cottage is a peaceful and relaxing place to stay, amid the ordered neatness of the citrus orchards and with serene views of the nearby hills. Apart from the obvious attraction of the Baviaanskloof and the various activities to be found around Patensie, guests are welcome to stroll in the orchards or along the river, which runs through the farm. Alternatively, explore the hills or follow the path along the irrigation canal which has made the valley what it is. De Mist Cottages accommodation The cottage is located so as to afford privacy and safe parking and the main road is convenient via a short drive The cottage can sleep up to five persons and is thus suitable for couples or small families. There is a bedroom which has a double bed and a single bed. There is additionally a sleeper couch available. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and hand basin. The lounge has more than ample seating as well as TV and HiFi. An open plan kitchen has a fridge, microwave, 2 plate cooker and everything else needed. For relaxing or entertaining out of doors there is a spotless stoep facing onto the garden and a private lapa area with a braai.
