South Africa’s Sunshine Coast offers some of the greatest
kitesurfing destinations in the Eastern Cape. The Eastern Cape
generally has wind on average 3-4 days in a week. In summer
we have the best conditions when it comes to learning.
Trade winds are east and west. Our main season lasts from
November to the end of March. Unpredictable conditions are
experienced during autumn and spring. In winter we also
have great conditions. Generally, it takes our students 3 to
5 lessons over 2 to 3 weeks to get going, all depending on
the skill level of the rider and weather/wind conditions. The
best places to learn are in Jeffreys Bay, but we can arrange
anywhere from Cannon Rocks to St Francis Bay.
