Klein Rivier Wilderness offers you the chance to explore a range of ecosystem from subtropical thicket to mountain fynbos.Two steep gorges dissect the property. We have three self catering accommodation options- Black Eagle tented camp is a comfortable camp set in the shade of cliffs and Forest Elder trees.Four carpeted tents each sleep 2 on sprung mattresses. The kitchen area is equiped with gas hob and fridge. Stone Mountain Lodge has a panoramic view of the Winterberg Mountains and Karoo.This must surely be one of the most isolated lodges in the Eastern Cape. Access is via 4×4 or the two gorges hiking trail. The Cottage is ideal for the less adventurous being situated in close proximity to reception yet with uninterrupted views of the sunset reflected in the calm waters of a reeded dam There are a number of nature trails ranging in difficulty from easy to moderate.
