Knowsley Country Cottage

It is situated on Fair View an active merino sheep & cattle farm in the Tsolwana Municipality just outside Tarkastad in the Eastern Cape of South Africa, surrounded by the Winterberg Mountains. It is a malaria & Bilharzia free area. The cottage has an old world feel, very cosy, with a log fire and surrounded by stacks of books. Camping is also available, and you can order meals on request or make use of the self catering facilities. Activities offered by Knowsley include, 4X4 trails, hiking, fishing game & bird viewing, horse riding, mountain biking, tennis, lawn bowling & many more exciting activities. Hunting is done during the winter season as part of population control and culling.
