Beautiful Victorian Guest House situated 39km east of Grahamstown in the quaint valley of Riebeek East, once the home of legendary Voortrekker, Piet Retief whose farm was called Mooimeisiesfontein. We offer 6 fully serviced rooms, 3 en suite. We also have small conference facilities which can accommodate up to about 15 people. Much of our food is sourced locally and many of our vegetables are grown organically. We are ideally situated for Game viewing as we are surrounded by many world class Game Reserves i.e Shamwari, Bushman Sands, Kwandwe and only 45 minutes from Addo Elephant Park. Photographic Weekend getaways are offered by renowned photoraphers, Marc Pradervand and Tim Hopwood where a full range of photographic skills provided.We also offer mosaic courses as well as Tai Chi weekends to rejuvenate the soul.
