Pumba Private Game Reserve offers a luxurious Safari Lodge comprising of 12 stone-walled, thatched, waterfront cottages leading off meandering timber footpaths. Msenge Bush Lodge offers 11 luxury, glass enclosed, thatched chalets, which flow naturally into the African bushveld, allowing you to become one with nature. The vegetation is a mixture of the Eastern Capes unique and dense valley bushveld, favoured by the elephant, and the grassland so beloved of the plain animals. Uniquely positioned, the Safari Lodge is set amongst dense bushveld, overlooking Lake Kareiga, where the animals come to drink. The main lodge offers magnificent views from its terraced timber deck complete with bushveld pool for lazy summer days. The Bush Bar and floating Pier is the perfect setting to enjoy a sundowner before dinner – a cordon bleu delight complemented by an extensive collection of excellent wines. The 200 plus species of birds will delight bird lovers. Day Safaris The Day Safari Centre allows visitors, with limited time to experience the ultimate African Safari. Set amongst dense thicket overlooking the plains where animals roam freely, it has been built around the naturally occuring vegetation, with tree tops peeping through the magnificent thatch structure. The boma-style Msenge offers a 64 seater restaurant, where you will be treated to a gourmet delight, a bush bar and curio shop. Noon and sunset safaris commence at the Day Safari Arrivals from where guests set out on their safari in custom made safari vehicles with experienced game rangers and trackers. The experience comprises of a three hour game drive with an expertly prepared meal in between.
