Ray Mhlaba Skills Training & Youth Empowerment Centre c/o Eastern Province Child & Youth Care Centre

The Ray Mhlaba Skills Training & Youth Empowerment Centre has been in operation for the past 18 years. Our primary objective is to positively impact the lives of others via the empowerment of unemployed, underprivileged youth aged 18-25 years in vocational skills and social development programs. By equipping the youth with the knowledge, skills and practical experience needed, we are assisting them to gain formal employment or become entrepreneurs. As part of their practical training our woodwork and needlework students make a number of items that are typically South African and is for sale to national and international tourists.
