Spring Grove Farm

Spring Grove Farm is 5km from the historic 1820 settler village of Bathurst, 20 minutes from the coastal resort town of Port Alfred and 30 minutes from Grahamstown, the home of South African Art and Culture. The farmhouse dates from the 1820s, and has accommodation consisting of two double bedrooms, with en-suite facilities and an exclusive guest lounge with TV. The farm has nature walks and off road cycle trails for the energetic, abundant bird life, a labyrinth for meditative reflection and for those who prefer to relax in a tranquil country setting there is a bush lounge and a shady stoep from which guests can watch our awesome sunsets. After many years of neglect the farm is being returned to productivity and has a recently established, small herd of indigenous Nguni and jersey cattle, free range poultry, organic vegetable and salad crops and two broiler chicken production sheds.
