Stellenhof Country House

Situated near the small town Addo in the Eastern Cape, Stellenhof captures the tranquil atmosphere of the beautiful region. The Cape Dutch style house was built in the 1900s by Lord Mc Baine, to whom it was a personal pride. The buildings and farm suroundings form an oasis in the heart of the African Bush. Our garden has a wonderful variety of old trees and roses, providing a wonderful place to read, admire the nature and diverse bird life – or just relax in the spectacular and peaceful surroundings. Your hosts, Bert and Gea Groenhof, can speak a variety of Dutch, English, Afrikaans or German, depending on your personal preference.
