Tranquility Cottage at Kasouga is situated on the R72 on the Sunshine Coast, nestled between Port Alfred (15km) and Kenton on Sea (9km). The beach cottage offers a stunning view of the sea and the river. Within easy walking distance to the unspoilt beaches and lagoon, come and spend a peaceful and idyllic holiday at Kasouga. It is here that families relax and enjoy a quiet existence and participate in wholesome activities such and sand boarding, surfing, river and sea fishing, collecting mussles and oysters, and while walking on the beach a seagull or oyster catcher will make pleasant company. Dolphins and the Southern Right Whale are frequent visitors to the shores of Kasouga. Take a walk up the beach to the famous Ship Rock a well known recreational area with lovely rock pools for the children and a very good spot for the keen angler where a large variety of different fish species are caught. For the keen bird watcher many different species can be viewed in the indigenous bush and along the banks of the river estuary and there are also lovely walks in the indigenous bush and some lead onto the beach. Children and animals have the right of way in this secure village, where quaintness of dirt roads still abound. A full time Security Guard is on duty around the clock. All shopping has to be done either in Port Alfred or Kenton on Sea.
