Verlorenrivier Guest Farm

Verlorenrivier is fortunate in being situated in the heart of the spectacularly beautiful Baviaanskloof, 148 km from Patensie and 60 km from Willowmore on the R332 at GPS S 33o 31 23.5 E23o 50 45.0. Here you can be assured of both a warm welcome and a pleasant stay in our special self-catering guest cottages. These have been built on a hill so as to afford wonderful panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Verlorenrivier is a working farm and offers scenic driving and hiking trails and your own swimming pool for cooling off. Our accommodation The guest cottages are tiled throughout for coolness in the summer and have open-plan living, dining and kitchen areas. You will find all you need in the kitchen to self cater. The one cottage has two bedrooms. In both you can enjoy the view while lying in bed. The main bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom while the other has twin beds and a separate bathroom. Additionally, there is a sleeper couch which sleeps 2 in the living area if needed. The living area and both bedrooms open straight onto the stoep which has a built-in braai and a roofed-over eating area as well as being the best place to sit in the fresh air and enjoy the view. The other cottage sleeps two in a bedroom with a double bed, shower handbasin toilet bathroom as well as an open plan living area and stoep, in all respects like the other. Services Linen and towels are provided. Braai wood, ice, cold drinks and snacks are available. Breakfast (R50 per person) and dinner (R80 per person) can also be provided by prior request.
