WELTEVREDEN FARM Farm Accommodation in the Nieu Bethesda District, near Graaff-Reinet, Eastern Cape 13 km from Nieu Bethesda Tucked away in the folds of the Sneeuberg Mountains, close to the little village of Nieu Bethesda, you will find Weltevreden, a historic Karoo sheep farm. discover Africas outback at Weltevreden where you can relax in the wide open Karoo countryside with its panoramic view of Compassberg. We offer you the chance to enjoy everyday sheep and cattle farming activities, walks, hikes, tennis on clay, splash pool and genuine peace and quiet. Bring your mountain bike for great rides. We also have an intact water mill used to stone grind wheat in years gone by standing on the same site as 150 years ago. Birds are abundant and offer good watching along with small game. Our accommodation consists of 2 self catering cottages available 1.The Cottage on the Pond has a large living area open plan kitchen. It has 3 bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms. The main bedroom has a kingsize bed and the other 2 rooms each have 2 single beds. 2.For more rustic accommodation there is the The Prison. This small cottage has a small living area kitchenette, a full bathroom, a room with a queen size bed and a loft area with 4 single beds. All cottages have braai facilities, are serviced daily and have both linen and towels. Remember to ask which cottage or section you will be in to avoid any misunderstandings.
