Woodbury Lodge offers an intimate and tranquil experience of the Eastern Cape bushveld at its best. Spectacularly set against a cliff above the Bushman’s River valley, it is the ideal place for couples or families to relax and enjoy their natural surroundings.
Guests are accommodated in seven comfortable stone -and- thatch sleeping lodges, surrounded by indigenous trees alive with birdsong. Each room has air conditioning, en suite bathrooms with heated floors and a private deck with magnificent views over the plains. Exciting game drives are conducted twice daily by our friendly and professional guides as they take you in search of the Big Five and a rich diversity of birds and animals.
This beautiful lodge is run by the Gush family who lived on the land for five generations. Many of the staff have also grown up in the area and take pride in providing a friendly service, ensuring that your African safari experience is a memorable one.
