The ECPTA, in partnership with Imbizo Events, hosted the 16th annual ICT Summit at the East London International Convention Centre on 22-24 November 2022. The theme #Mehlo’Madala (meaning Long Time No See) was most appropriate after a two-year break due to COVID-19.
The summit was well attended and received a positive response from delegates, speakers and the public and private sectors.
The ICT Summit is proudly hosted in the Eastern Cape every year. Its prime objective is to showcase the latest trends and solutions within the industry across South Africa.
The summit functions as a powerhouse for the ICT sector, enabling businesses, the public sector and individuals to network and engage in talks for business development opportunities and to sell their ideas. It creates a platform to strategise and discuss topical issues, trends and innovative ideas to provide solutions for the country’s challenges. It further serves as an opportunity for the sector to discuss how ICT can develop the country and bring about change in society.
