
As part of efforts to strengthen destination marketing, ECPTA recently hosted social media influencer Athi Mgoqo on a two-night, three-day tour of Coffee Bay.
The initiative was aimed at positioning the Wild Coast as a safe and credible Easter travel destination, while showcasing the area’s natural beauty, lifestyle and visitor experiences.
During the visit, content was captured across key attractions including Mdumbi Beach, Coffee Shack, and the iconic Hole in the Wall, highlighting both scenic and cultural elements of the destination.
This form of digital storytelling continues to play an important role in reaching new audiences and reinforcing the Eastern Cape as an accessible and attractive coastal destination.
