Organized by the Agency’s Change Champions, the Eastern Cape Parks and Tourism Agency (ECPTA) hosted an exciting event to unite and engage its employees. The event, held on 14 June 2024, saw employees come together for a day filled with laughter and a series of fun activities, including a highly anticipated dance and act battle.
The Youth Day celebration underscores ECPTA’s commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. This year’s celebrations were brought to life through various entertaining activities designed to get employees closer together and strengthen team bonds.
The day’s highlight was undoubtedly the dance and act battle, where employees formed groups to showcase their creativity and performance skills. The teams put on a fantastic show, dancing to popular songs with enthusiasm and flair. From old-school hits to 90’s popular African drama series, the performances were a testament to our agency’s diverse musical tastes and talents.
ECPT Wellness Officer, Aphindiwe Fodo emphasized the importance of unity and the vital role that youth play in shaping the future of the entity.
“The event not only celebrated the youthful spirit within our agency but also reinforced our commitment to nurturing a supportive and dynamic work environment,” said Fodo.
