The Eastern Cape Parks and Tourism Agency (ECPTA) was part of a Tourism Safety Campaign led by Deputy Minister of Department of Tourism, Ms. Maggie Sotyu in collaboration with Eastern Cape Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (DEDEAT), and the Nelson Mandela Bay Metropolitan Municipality early April in Motherwell, Gqeberha. The event aimed to promote tourism and raise safety awareness in the lead-up to the Easter weekend.
The campaign was also supported by Deputy Minister of Transport, Mr Mkhuleko Hlengwa, and Deputy Minister for Public Service and Administration, Ms Pinky Kekana.
This collaborative effort aimed to promote tourism and enhance safety awareness in communities ahead of the Easter weekend, ensuring that the Eastern Cape province remains a welcoming and secure destination for all.
