ECPTA participated in the 20th Annual ICT Summit at the East London ICC under the theme Nathi SiConnected, partnering with industry stakeholders to promote the Eastern Cape as a credible and competitive MICE destination. The summit brought together technology leaders, policymakers, innovators and development organisations to explore digital transformation and its impact on business and event environments.
Through its exhibition and engagements, ECPTA demonstrated how digital systems support stronger destination management, enhance visitor experiences and enable more efficient event hosting across the province. The Agency used the platform to highlight the Eastern Cape’s growing capacity to host conferences, exhibitions and business events, reinforcing the province’s positioning within the national MICE landscape and strengthening visibility among decision-makers and event organisers.
