Eastern Cape Parks and Tourism Agency (ECPTA) staff took part in the Bat’s Cave Hiking Trail experience on 13 February 2026, stepping away from their daily routines to enjoy the province’s natural beauty.
The hike offered a refreshing opportunity for staff to reconnect with nature, support their physical wellbeing, and spend quality time together in a relaxed outdoor environment. Surrounded by scenic landscapes, the experience allowed colleagues to engage with one another in a more informal setting, strengthening team spirit and workplace relationships.
Beyond the personal benefits, the activity also gave staff a deeper appreciation of the Eastern Cape’s tourism offerings. Experiencing the trail first-hand strengthened their ability to authentically promote the province as a destination rich in nature-based experiences.
