Mystical Tsitsikamma
Tsitsikamma is a Khoi word meaning “place of abundant or sparkling water”. The Tsitsikamma Forest is an ancient, indigenous forest and host to a range of fun activities for the enjoyment of the beautiful surroundings. The Tsitsikamma is the adventure hub of the province – for adrenalin junkies, try the highest bungy or a treetop canopy tour!
Kouga/Baviaans
This region is home to the Baviaanskloof World Heritage Site, declared by UNESCO as a protected area for its biodiversity. Hike through the park or explore the Interpretive Centre! Enjoy the thrill of a skydive or cruising along the coastal towns.
Karoo Heartland
Embrace stillness and sheer beauty in the soulful Karoo Heartland. There are two national parks to explore, encompassing staggering views and wildlife. The Karoo is also home to culinary delights – book a cooking or fine dining tour.
Sundays River Valley
This is the only region in the world where you can do a Big 7 safari – the traditional Big 5 (lion, rhino, leopard, buffalo and elephant) and also the southern right whale and the great white shark.
Sunshine Coast
The Sunshine Coast is the perfect holiday escape with its urban centres to enjoy city life! There are many coastal towns and hamlets to explore between East London and Gqeberha, all with stunning beaches and some with rivers to enjoy.
Frontier Country
Learn about the history of the Eastern Cape and the country in the heart of this historic district. Frontier Country is where some of the first settlers made their homes and was the site of nine wars between the five great cultures to settle here. Amathole Mountain Escape
