Keeping the Eastern Cape top of mind has been one of the focus areas for the ECPTA marketing team during the current lockdown period. The team presented a destination information overview to share with travel trade representatives in a variety of international markets.
In partnership with South African Tourism, the ECPTA presented to South African Tourism staff in their offices in Europe, Scandinavia and Australasia. In addition, the ECPTA presented to 109 travel trade representatives in India. This was arranged by South African Tourism and their trade partner, One Above. Thompsons Holidays Agents also received training. In total, the ECPTA has engaged with 156 travel trade representatives in an ongoing effort to keep our tourism promotion partners well informed and to ensure that destination Eastern Cape is foremost in the minds of travel agents.
We’re motivated by the words of encouragement from SAT’s Erick van Zyl “You were brilliant in your presentation and have created a standard we have to keep. Thanks again for a wonderfully creative, splendid introduction to the Eastern Cape. It was indeed one of the best and smoothest presentations ever. We salute your team for presenting the province in such a magnificent way.”
Together, we will keep the Eastern Cape Top of Mind!
