The microsite will be marketed across all ECPTA social media platforms, as well as through direct messaging. It will also be available as a standard click-through from the province’s official marketing site, www.visiteasterncape.co.za.
While the new portal was designed specifically to promote the province’s domestic tourism re-entry offers, it will be maintained as a marketing tool until at least the end of the 2020 summer season, to spur demand and showcase the province.
“Many product owners, representing a wide range of destinations and experiences, have already opted into the site,” says Susan Wilson, ECPTA’s Trade and Exhibitions Manager.
“Those not yet featured are strongly encouraged to share their re-opening specials and deals with us, so that they can be included on the portal. This will help us to showcase the province’s re-entry initiatives, and profile the province as a safe, affordable destination.”
