THE AGENCY HOST A 3-DAY MEDIA TOUR ALONG THE SUNSHINE COAST REGION

The Eastern Cape Parks and Tourism Agency (ECPTA) recently held a three-day media tour along the Sunshine Coast region. The tour aimed to showcase some of the amazing places people can visit in the province during summer and beyond.

The journey started with a beach horse ride at Pappiesfontein Beach Horse Trails, where participants enjoyed a two-hour beginner-friendly horseback adventure. Next, the group travelled to Cape St. Francis for delicious calamari tasting and a relaxing canal cruise.

On the second day, the group visited Pabala Private Game Reserve, where they enjoyed a delightful honey and gin-tasting session, followed by an exhilarating game drive to explore the region’s diverse wildlife. The tour concluded with a visit to Masifunde in Walmer Township, a non-governmental organisation dedicated to holistic development for children and youth in the community. Participants had the opportunity to meet local crafters and gain insight into their inspiring work.

This media tour showed what the Eastern Cape has to offer. Media houses that joined the tour included Daily Dispatch, The Herald, SABC, Mpuma Kapa TV, and social media influencers, helping to share the province’s attractions with different audiences; for more travel deals, visit www.ectraveldeals.co.za.
