| THE APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER TO CONDUCT A STUDY ON SUSTAINABLE LIVELIHOODS IN THE WILD COAST FOR EASTERN CAPE PARKS AND TOURISM AGENCYEXPECTED DELIVERABLES:
The successful service provider will be required to develop Environmental and Education Materials which include the following:
• History and the significance of the 4 Reserves • Reserve annotated maps to guide visitors • Vegetation types and species found in the Reserves • Environmental themes to be covered • Environmental challenges and mitigating factors • Categorize information for brochures, banners and display in the Reserves with pictures • Report to the project manager and marketing department fortnightly for verification of materials • Visit the Nature Reserves • Consult with relevant ECPTA officials, stakeholders and Community representative structures. • Produce print ready materials with pictures (No Printing) • The duration of the project is two months from the appointment date.
Evaluation Criteria Points will be awarded in accordance with the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, Act No. 5 of 2000 and its regulations of 2011 as follows:
A two stage evaluation process will be employed. In Stage 1 all quotes received will be evaluated for functionality. Only service providers who meet the minimum criteria of 60 points on functionality will proceed to stage 2 where quotes will be assessed for Price and B-BBEE Status Level in accordance with the Preferential Procurement Regulation of 2011. STAGE 1
NB: Only bidders who obtain a minimum score of 60 points and above for functionality (stage 1 evaluation) will qualify for evaluation in stage 2 and points for stage 1 will not be considered for evaluation in stage 2.
