Dear Stakeholder,
Eastern Cape Parks and Tourism Agency (ECPTA) as a protected area management authority is required under the National Environmental Management: Protected Areas Act, No. 57 of 2003 to compile and update management plans for protected areas under its management. During the 2021-2022 financial year, ECPTA will be reviewing the existing management plans for Dwesa/Cwebe, Mpofu/Fort Fordyce and Ongeluksnek Nature Reserves.
If you have direct/indirect interests or rights in these reserves, please complete the stakeholder registration form below or request the form from Mr K. Mangwale (pamp@ecpta.co.za). The completed form should be emailed to the above email address. Registered stakeholders will receive invitations to attend the stakeholder engagement workshops and comment on the draft management plans.
This notice is issued in accordance with section 39, read with section 41 of the National Environmental Management: Protected Areas Act No. 57 of 2003.
