Bids are hereby invited for THE APPOINTMENT OF A CONTRACTOR TO UPGRADE AND REPAIR THE MVUBU COMPLEX SWIMMING POOL AND DECKING AT GREAT FISH RIVER NATURE RESERVE

Compulsory briefing will be held on 20 March 2024 at 13h00 pm.  The venue is the Great Fish Nature Reserve (Alice Entrance), GPS Co- ordinates – Latitude: 31°39’10.47″S Longitude: 29°30’22.31″E

EVALUATION CRITERIA

A Three (3) Stage Evaluation process will be employed. In Stage One (1) all bids received will be evaluated based on Mandatory requirements. Only bidders who meet the mandatory requirements will proceed to Stage Two (2) where bids will be evaluated compliance requirements Only bidders who meet all the criteria for compliance with bid requirements will proceed to Stage Three (3) on Price and Specific Goals in accordance with the Preferential Procurement Regulations of 2022 utilizing 80/20 preference points system.

STAGE 1: MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS 

Compulsory Briefing.

Contractors must be registered with the CIDB for grade 2CE ONLY

STAGE 2: COMPLAINCE REQUIREMENTS

Bidders must comply with the set of compliance requirements listed below. Failure to comply with any of the compliance requirements will lead to immediate rejection of the bid.

  • Methodology; and
  • Team Capacity

Price and specific goals points will be calculated as described in the Preferential Procurement Regulations of 2022. SBD 6.1 form must be used to claim points for specific goals for the company.

A copy of CSD report, Medical Certificate (where applicable) and Proof of Address must be submitted as proof of specific goals. When the above documentation is not provided as proof the company will automatically score zero.

Completed bid documents accompanied by all necessary documents are to be placed in a sealed envelope with the bid name and number (as given above) clearly written in an envelope. All bids must be deposited in the Tender Box, at the offices of the Eastern Cape Parks and Tourism Agency at No. 17-25 Oxford Street (Corner of Fleet Street & Oxford Street), by not later than 11h00 on Wednesday 27 March 2024, at which time the bids will be opened in public.
